Energeasy Solar scoops the Industry Development Award at the 2014 Solar Industry Awards.
After launching Energeasy Solar in the UK, Belgium and The Netherlands, Rexel is proud to announce it has won the Industry Development category at the 2014 Solar Industry Awards.
The Industry Development Award, which recognizes the best innovative ideas and developments that enhance the progress of the industry and market on a global scale, was presented at an official awards ceremony taking place at The Grand Amsterdam hotel in Amsterdam.
Collecting more than 30% of the votes in its category, Energeasy Solar, has proven its ability to both raise awareness and understanding of solar PV amongst end consumers and provide installers with added value services that can help them to win more business.
For the first time, consumers have a guarantee on the electricity generation from their PV installation, with the assurance that if electricity generated is more than 10% below the original estimate within the first 5 years, Rexel will pay them back the difference. This is not only reassuring for the customer, but also provides a compelling point of difference for the installer who is a member of Rexel’s Energeasy Solar programme.
David Shapiro, Services Development & Strategic Partnerships Group Director, Rexel, said: “This award is a strong acknowledgment of Energeasy Solar’s capability to bring a new dynamic to the solar photovoltaic market. It provides a boost of confidence for further roll-outs in the very near future.”
